Creating a Soothing Sensory Garden hosted by Backyard Abundance
Soothing Sensory Garden by Backyard Abundance
Grounding our bodies in our senses can bring us feelings of pleasure and regulate our nervous systems and stress levels. Come touch, smell, see and taste plants that grow easily in Iowa that will make you smile and can help you feel calmer.
We will learn hands-on how to grow and integrate use of plants to improve our state of mind and nourish our bodies. We will establish a small raised bed sensory garden you can easily recreate at home with inexpensive materials you can purchase locally.
Fred from Backyard Abundance says, “These sensory gardens will be filled with plants that attract people, pollinators and monarchs.”
